Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Glass Factory Labourers at our facility in Emerald. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals looking for ongoing full-time work with the benefit of penalty rates for various shifts. As a Glass Factory Labourer, you will play a crucial role in the production process, supporting various stages of glass manufacturing. No specific prior glass factory experience is required, as full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in your tasks. We are looking for individuals who are physically capable, have a strong work ethic, and are committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products.
- Operate basic machinery and equipment under supervision, following safety protocols.
- Support machine operators and production staff to ensure smooth workflow.
- Perform general clean-up duties to maintain a tidy and safe factory environment.
- Conduct basic quality checks on materials and products as instructed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move materials up to 20kg.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (not mandatory).
