Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming goods, materials, and supplies.
- Verify accuracy of shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jack) after training, to move goods to designated storage areas.
- Maintain organized receiving logs and records, both physical and digital.
- Communicate discrepancies or damaged goods to supervisors and relevant departments.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Ensure the receiving area is clean, safe, and organized.
- Collaborate with warehouse, production, and administrative teams.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks required in a warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer proficiency (e.g., data entry, email).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and eager to learn new processes and systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with data entry or administrative tasks.
- Familiarity with inventory management concepts.
- Experience using a pallet jack or similar equipment (training provided if none).
