Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Grain Trading Intern to join our dynamic team in Melbourne. This entry-level internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of agricultural commodity trading and logistics. You will work closely with experienced traders and logistics specialists, learning about market analysis, supply chain management, risk assessment, and customer relations within the grain industry. This role is designed for individuals with little to no prior experience, providing comprehensive training and mentorship to kickstart a career in agricultural business.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior traders with market research and data analysis to identify trends and inform trading decisions.
- Support the logistics team in coordinating grain movements, tracking shipments, and managing inventory.
- Learn about contract administration, trade execution, and compliance procedures.
- Contribute to daily market reports and presentations.
- Help maintain relationships with growers, customers, and industry partners.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic discussions.
- Undertake special projects as assigned, focusing on process improvement or market development.
Required Skills
