Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting and challenging entry-level role with excellent pay? Mitie Group PLC is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as High-Rise Window Washers (Trainee). No prior experience is necessary – we provide comprehensive training, premium pay, and all necessary safety gear. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn a specialized trade, work at height, and contribute to maintaining the pristine appearance of some of Newport’s most prominent buildings. You will be part of a supportive team, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety on every job.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and master high-rise window cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
- Operate specialized equipment such as suspended platforms, boom lifts, and rope access systems under supervision.
- Clean windows and exterior glass surfaces of commercial and residential high-rise buildings.
- Inspect equipment for safety and proper functioning before each use.
- Adhere strictly to all company and industry safety regulations and procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with clients and the public.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
