Job Description
Tourneau is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Horologist or Master Watchmaker to join our prestigious service center in Henderson, NV. This is a full-time, on-site position for a craftsman passionate about luxury watches and committed to precision and quality. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the repair, maintenance, and restoration of a wide range of mechanical and quartz timepieces, including high-complication movements. Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance on a diverse array of luxury watches, encompassing automatic, manual-wind, and quartz movements.
- Execute precise casing, dial, and hand installation, along with water resistance testing and regulation.
- Conduct full movement overhauls, including disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, and reassembly.
- Ensure all repairs meet Tourneau's stringent quality standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Manage parts inventory and order necessary components for repairs.
- Provide technical consultation and support to sales associates and clients as needed.
- Continuously update knowledge of new watch technologies and repair techniques.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 6 years (72 months) of professional experience as a Horologist or Watchmaker.
- Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical movements.
- Exceptional manual dexterity, keen eyesight, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency with specialized watchmaking tools and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, luxury retail environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- WOSTEP, CW21, or equivalent international watchmaking certification.
- Experience with specific high-end brands (e.g., Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Cartier).
- Background in antique watch restoration.
- Multilingual capabilities are a plus.
