Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Hotel Breakfast Waiter to join our dynamic team at Novotel Greenway. This full-time position involves working morning shifts, ensuring our guests start their day with a delightful breakfast experience. You will be responsible for setting up the breakfast area, greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and inviting dining environment. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist them with seating.
- Present breakfast menus and inform guests of daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve breakfast dishes and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Clear tables, reset dining areas, and maintain cleanliness throughout service.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of the breakfast buffet.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any service-related issues with a positive attitude.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Required Skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and active listening.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure.
- Reliability and punctuality for early morning shifts.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality setting (6+ months).
- Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate (if required for occasional beverage service).
- Current Food Handling Certificate.
