Job Description
As a Housekeeper at Premier Inn Stoke-on-Trent, you will be instrumental in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas, contributing directly to our guests’ positive experience. Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning guest rooms to the highest standards, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Replenishing amenities and linen supplies in guest rooms according to Premier Inn standards.
- Cleaning and maintaining public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms.
- Reporting any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Adhering strictly to health and safety regulations and company cleaning procedures.
- Handling guest requests courteously and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintaining a tidy, organized, and well-stocked cleaning trolley and storage areas.
- Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth hotel operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift, push, and move objects as required.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- A positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a team-player mentality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of hygiene and safety practices.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Previous experience in a cleaning or hospitality role is a plus, but not essential as full training is provided.
