Job Description

Baskin-Robbins in Fort Worth is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as an Ice Cream Parlor Server. This is a perfect opportunity for those new to the workforce, offering comprehensive training and a chance to develop valuable customer service skills. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet customers and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and treats.
- Scoop and serve ice cream, create sundaes, milkshakes, and other dessert items accurately and efficiently.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, handle cash and credit card transactions with precision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment, including dining areas, serving stations, and restrooms.
- Restock ice cream flavors, cones, toppings, and other supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe experience for customers and team members.
- Work collaboratively with your team to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Required Skills
- An enthusiastic and positive attitude with a strong desire to provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak hours.
- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and making change.
- Reliability and punctuality are a must.
- A willingness to learn and master new skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent, or currently pursuing one.
- Any informal or formal experience interacting with customers in a service setting.
- The ability to obtain a local food handler's permit (we can help you with this!).
