Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Instructional Design Intern to join our Corporate E-Learning team. This is an incredible opportunity for an aspiring instructional designer to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic corporate environment. You will support the development of engaging and effective e-learning modules, contribute to our continuous learning initiatives, and work alongside experienced professionals dedicated to employee growth. No prior professional experience is required; we are looking for someone eager to learn and grow with us.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the research, analysis, and design of e-learning content for various corporate training programs.
- Support the development of engaging instructional materials, including scripts, storyboards, and interactive exercises.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content and ensure accuracy.
- Help in the review and testing of e-learning modules for functionality and instructional effectiveness.
- Contribute to maintaining and updating existing e-learning resources.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions for new learning solutions.
- Learn and apply principles of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies.
Required Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of adult learning principles (can be from academic coursework).
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a post-secondary program in Education, Instructional Design, Communications, HR, or a related field.
- Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) is a plus, but not required.
- Basic understanding of multimedia development (e.g., video editing, graphic design) concepts.
