Job Description
Are you looking for an opportunity to kick-start your career in a practical, hands-on role? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Irrigation Labourer to join our team in Darwin. This ongoing full-time position is perfect for individuals keen to learn about farm systems and irrigation techniques from the ground up. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided. You will work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to the installation, maintenance, and repair of various irrigation systems across our client sites, primarily within agricultural or large-scale landscaping environments. This role offers a stable work environment, opportunities for skill development, and a chance to make a tangible contribution to essential infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems.
- Perform general labouring duties, including trenching, digging, and lifting.
- Help with the assembly and connection of pipes, fittings, and sprinklers.
- Monitor irrigation system performance and report any issues.
- Carry out basic equipment operation and maintenance under supervision.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines on site.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Learn and apply new skills related to irrigation technology and farm systems.
