Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Late Night Retail Assistants in Belconnen. This casual role is perfect for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are available for shifts outside standard business hours, including evenings and weekends. You will play a crucial part in ensuring our store is well-stocked, clean, and ready for our customers. Enjoy the benefit of penalty rates for your late-night efforts!
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently replenish shelves and ensure accurate stock rotation.
- Assist customers with enquiries and provide excellent service during late trading hours.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe store environment.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately (training provided).
- Assist with receiving and organising deliveries.
- Adhere to all store policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to lift, stand, and move for extended periods.
- Availability to work late night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a retail or customer service role is an advantage but not essential.
- Familiarity with stock handling and merchandising practices.
- Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate, if applicable to store section.
