Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable individual to join our team as a Livestock Feed Mixer and General Farm Laborer. This role is crucial to ensuring the health and productivity of livestock by accurately preparing feed formulations and assisting with various farm tasks. The position involves consistent heavy lifting, operating machinery, and maintaining a clean work environment. Full training will be provided for all equipment and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately measure and mix feed ingredients according to precise formulations and production schedules.
- Operate and maintain feed mixing equipment, including loaders, scales, and mixers.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished feed products, requiring frequent heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Monitor inventory levels of feed ingredients and report shortages.
- Perform general farm labor duties as needed, including cleaning pens, equipment, and facilities.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and quality control standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of feed production and inventory.
- Work collaboratively with other farm staff to ensure efficient operations.

Preferred Qualifications
