Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and vigilant individuals to join our team as Local Council Ward Security Patrols in Twickenham, London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to contribute to community safety and security, with full training provided. As a key member of our patrol team, you will maintain a visible and reassuring presence within designated local council wards, deterring crime and responding to incidents as required. Uniform will be provided to ensure you are well-equipped for your duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols within designated local council wards in Twickenham.
- Maintain a highly visible presence to deter criminal activity and anti-social behaviour.
- Report incidents, suspicious activities, and safety concerns to appropriate authorities.
- Engage positively with community members, providing assistance and information where appropriate.
- Respond to non-emergency security situations and escalate as per protocol.
- Complete accurate daily logs and incident reports.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and local council guidelines.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Physical fitness to conduct patrols on foot for extended periods.
- A clean criminal record (DBS check will be required).
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications
- SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence (desirable, but training can be provided for suitable candidates).
- Previous experience in a customer service or community-facing role.
- Basic First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of the Twickenham and wider Richmond upon Thames area.
