Job Description
Join Oceanwatch Australia as a Marine Biology Intern with a focus on Coastal Conservation in beautiful Manly. This entry-level internship offers a unique opportunity for aspiring marine biologists and environmental scientists to gain hands-on experience in marine conservation. You will contribute to vital projects aimed at protecting and rehabilitating coastal ecosystems, monitoring marine life, and engaging with local communities. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with field surveys, data collection, and monitoring of coastal habitats and marine species.
- Support research efforts by processing samples, entering data, and assisting with basic analysis.
- Participate in community engagement activities, educational workshops, and outreach programs.
- Help maintain field equipment and prepare for fieldwork expeditions.
- Contribute to report writing and presentation development based on project findings.
