Job Description
Are you a highly energetic individual looking for casual work that keeps you active and engaged? Adelaide Hills Event Solutions is seeking enthusiastic Marquee Rigger Helpers to join our dynamic team. This entry-level role is perfect for someone keen to learn the ropes of event setup, doesn’t mind physical work outdoors, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Full training will be provided – no prior experience necessary, just a great attitude and a willingness to contribute! Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced riggers with the safe and efficient setup and dismantling of marquees, temporary structures, and related equipment.
- Load and unload equipment from trucks and storage facilities.
- Transport equipment around event sites, ensuring proper handling and care.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines strictly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
- Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects consistently.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Australian Driver's License (manual highly regarded).
- Previous experience in manual labour or outdoor work (not essential, but a bonus).
- Basic understanding of OHS principles.
- White Card (Construction Induction).
