Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our on-site manufacturing team in Truro. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a real-world manufacturing setting, working alongside experienced engineers on various projects. You will contribute to the design, development, and improvement of mechanical systems and processes, learning practical applications of engineering principles in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior engineers with the design, analysis, and testing of mechanical components and systems.
  • Participate in on-site manufacturing processes, observing and contributing to production workflows.

  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and adherence to specifications.
  • Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing operations.

Required Skills

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of mechanical engineering principles.
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
