Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Medical Admin Intern to join our healthcare operations team in Newcastle, New South Wales. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals passionate about the healthcare sector who are looking to gain hands-on administrative experience in a dynamic hospital environment. You will support various administrative functions, contributing to the efficient running of our medical services and patient care coordination. Full training and mentorship will be provided, making this an ideal role for someone with a strong desire to learn and grow within the healthcare industry, regardless of prior experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with patient record management, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support scheduling and coordination of appointments and clinical meetings.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls and emails.
- Prepare and process various administrative documents and reports.
- Maintain office supplies and assist with inventory management.
- Provide general administrative support to medical staff and departmental teams.
- Learn and adhere to healthcare compliance and privacy regulations.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient operational environment.
