Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and diligent Medical Scribe to join our public clinic team in Greenway. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with exceptional data entry skills and a strong commitment to accuracy, even without prior medical experience. You will play a crucial role in supporting our healthcare professionals by accurately documenting patient encounters in real-time within our electronic medical record (EMR) system. Full training on medical terminology, EMR navigation, and clinic workflows will be provided to ensure your success. Your contribution will directly enhance clinic efficiency and allow our clinicians to focus more on direct patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately document patient histories, physical exams, diagnostic tests, treatment plans, and other clinical information into the EMR system in real-time during patient encounters.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and completeness in all documentation.
- Navigate the EMR system efficiently to locate and input relevant patient data.
- Support clinicians by retrieving patient information, preparing charts, and managing pending orders.
- Ensure all documentation complies with clinic policies, procedures, and privacy regulations.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support clinic operations.
- Attend and actively participate in all required training and professional development sessions.
