Job Description
Myer is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Merchandise Intern for a Retail Analytics Placement. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of retail merchandising and data analysis. You will support our merchandising team by analyzing sales trends, inventory levels, and customer behavior to inform purchasing decisions and optimize product assortment. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, cleaning, and analysis of sales data, inventory data, and customer insights.
- Support the merchandising team in creating reports and presentations on key retail performance metrics.
- Learn to identify trends and patterns in product performance to inform decision-making.
- Contribute to the development of merchandise strategies under the guidance of experienced analysts.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and collaborate with various departments, including buying, planning, and marketing.
