Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and physically capable Metal Recycler to join our team in Warrnambool. This heavy industrial role involves the processing, sorting, and preparation of various metals for recycling. You will operate machinery, perform manual tasks, and contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace. Full training will be provided to the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating heavy machinery such as forklifts, excavators, or balers (with training).
- Sorting and categorizing different types of scrap metal.
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials.
- Performing general yard duties and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Adhering strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Conducting basic equipment checks and reporting any maintenance needs.
- Working effectively as part of a team to meet production targets.
