Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Part-Time Museum Cloakroom Attendant to join our team in a quiet and supportive environment. This entry-level position is perfect for someone who enjoys a calm atmosphere and takes pride in providing excellent, discreet service to our museum visitors. You will be responsible for securely storing personal belongings and ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for guests upon arrival and departure. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in a cultural setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and assist museum visitors with storing their coats, bags, and other personal items in the cloakroom.
  • Issue and retrieve items efficiently and accurately, ensuring all belongings are handled with care and returned to the correct owner.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and security of the cloakroom area.
  • Answer basic questions about the museum facilities and direct visitors to appropriate departments.
  • Adhere to all museum policies and safety procedures regarding item handling and visitor interaction.
  • Report any unusual occurrences or security concerns to supervisory staff.
