Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and energetic Night Fill Assistant to join our team at the Springwood supermarket. This is a crucial role responsible for ensuring our shelves are fully stocked and impeccably presented for our customers each morning. Working during the night, you will play a vital part in maintaining product availability and store standards. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently unpack and replenish stock onto supermarket shelves
- Rotate products to ensure freshness and minimise waste
- Maintain a tidy, organised, and safe work environment throughout the night shift
- Assist with stocktake procedures and inventory management as required
- Ensure all products are correctly priced and merchandised according to planograms
- Operate pallet jacks or other equipment safely after appropriate training
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items repeatedly
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled night shifts
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or supermarket environment, particularly in night fill or stock replenishment
- Basic understanding of merchandising principles
- Forklift or pallet jack licence (beneficial but not essential, training provided)
