Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Night Porter. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in hospitality, as full training will be provided regardless of prior experience. As a Night Porter, you will be crucial in ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our guests during the overnight hours. You will handle late-night check-ins, assist with guest inquiries, maintain hotel security, and prepare the hotel for the morning operations. Key Responsibilities
- Manage late-night guest arrivals and departures efficiently and courteously.
- Handle guest requests and resolve any issues that may arise during the night shift.
- Conduct regular security checks throughout the hotel premises to ensure guest safety and property security.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks, including processing payments and updating guest records.
- Perform light cleaning duties in public areas and prepare meeting rooms for the following day.
- Set up and oversee basic breakfast preparations or lounge amenities.
- Monitor fire safety systems and respond to alarms or emergencies according to hotel procedures.
- Provide accurate information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Required Skills
- No prior experience required – full training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Basic computer literacy.
- A genuine desire to provide outstanding customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role is a plus, but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of hotel operating systems (training provided).
