Job Description
We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Night Watchman to join our team in Belfast. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain the security and safety of premises during night hours, ensuring all protocols are followed diligently. You will be a crucial part of our security operations, tasked with monitoring designated areas, reporting any suspicious activities, and responding to incidents as required. This role demands a high level of attentiveness, responsibility, and the ability to work independently. Full training will be provided to ensure you are well-equipped to handle the responsibilities of the position.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of designated premises, both internal and external, throughout the night.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras and alarm systems, for any unusual activity.
- Check and secure all access points, including doors, windows, and gates.
- Maintain accurate logs of activities, observations, and incidents during shifts.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms or security breaches, following established procedures.
- Report any security incidents, emergencies, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Enforce company security policies and regulations.
- Provide a visible deterrent to unauthorized access and criminal activity.
- Complete incident reports and other administrative tasks as required.
Required Skills

- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a security-related role (e.g., security guard, watchman).
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license.
- First Aid certification.
- Full UK driving license.
