Job Description
We are seeking experienced and dedicated Oil & Gas Drillers to join our global operations. As an Oil & Gas Driller, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of drilling equipment, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate drilling rig and associated equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor drilling operations to ensure compliance with operational plans and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate drilling logs and reports.
- Conduct pre-tour and post-tour inspections of drilling equipment.
- Oversee the work of the drilling crew and provide on-the-job training as needed.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of drilling fluids and materials.
- Implement emergency procedures as required.
- Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to optimize drilling performance.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Oil & Gas Driller or Assistant Driller.
- Proven knowledge of drilling techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Ability to operate and maintain various drilling rig components.
- Strong understanding of well control principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in challenging environments.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; technical certification or vocational training in drilling operations is a plus.
- IADC or IWCF Well Control certification.
- Experience with advanced drilling technologies.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for reporting.
- Previous international work experience.
