Job Description
Are you looking for an opportunity to kickstart your career in the trades? Programmed Group is seeking a motivated and reliable Painter’s Offsider to join our dynamic team for part-time day work in Sunshine, VIC. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals with no prior experience who are eager to learn and contribute to high-quality painting projects. You will work alongside experienced painters, assisting them with various tasks in a clean and organized environment. We provide comprehensive on-the-job training to ensure you develop the skills needed to succeed. This is a fantastic chance to gain valuable experience in the building maintenance industry with a supportive and leading organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting qualified painters with preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking.
- Helping to set up and pack down work sites, ensuring all equipment is safely handled and stored.
- Cleaning tools, brushes, and equipment after use.
- Maintaining a tidy and organized work environment.
- Moving materials and equipment around the worksite as directed.
- Following all safety procedures and guidelines diligently.
- Learning and developing new skills under the guidance of experienced tradespeople.

- Current C-Class Driver's License
