Job Description
Phillips Law Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Law Clerk Intern to join our Phoenix team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals interested in gaining practical experience in the legal field, specifically within personal injury law and case management. Under the direct supervision of attorneys and paralegals, you will provide essential support in managing client cases, from initial intake to settlement or litigation. This internship is designed to offer comprehensive training, allowing you to develop critical legal skills and understand the intricacies of a busy personal injury practice. We welcome candidates with no prior legal experience, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys and paralegals with various aspects of personal injury case management.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic client files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform data entry and update case management software with client information, medical records, and other critical documents.
- Draft basic legal correspondence, memos, and forms under supervision.
- Conduct preliminary research on medical records, accident reports, and other case-related information.
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies to gather necessary information (under attorney/paralegal guidance).
- Prepare trial binders and discovery responses.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, depositions, and court hearings.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the legal team.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
