Job Description

No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive, hands-on training to equip you with all the skills needed to become a successful groomer. Key Responsibilities
- Assist professional groomers with bathing, drying, and brushing various breeds of dogs and cats.
- Learn and practice safe animal handling techniques, ensuring the comfort and safety of all pets.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming salon, including sanitizing tools and equipment.
- Help with client intake and discharge, ensuring a positive experience for pet owners.
- Observe and learn grooming techniques, including clipping, scissoring, and styling.
- Perform basic duties such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and de-shedding under supervision.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and educating pet owners on aftercare.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with animal care, pet sitting, or volunteering at an animal shelter (not required, but a plus).
- Basic understanding of different dog and cat breeds.
- First Aid for pets certification (can be obtained during training).
