Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and physically fit Piling Labourer to join our heavy infrastructure team in Springwood, QLD. This is an excellent opportunity to work on significant projects, contributing to the development of vital infrastructure across the region. We offer top pay for motivated individuals who are committed to safety and quality workmanship. You will be an integral part of our piling operations, assisting skilled operators and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards. Full training will be provided for specific piling techniques, though prior experience in general construction labour is highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and dismantling of piling rigs and associated equipment.
- Handle and position piling cages, rebar, and formwork.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organised work site, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Support piling crew with various tasks as directed, including shovelling, digging, and material handling.
- Monitor equipment and report any malfunctions or damage.
- Participate in daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Assist in concrete pours and other site activities related to piling.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Basic understanding of construction site procedures.
- White Card (Construction Induction Card).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a construction or civil labouring role.
- Experience working around heavy machinery.
- Current HR or HC driver's license.
- First Aid certification.
