Job Description

Are you energetic, enthusiastic, and love working with children? McDonald’s in Wangaratta is seeking a dedicated Play Centre Attendant to join our friendly team for casual weekend day shifts. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising children in our play area, ensuring their safety and enjoyment, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a dynamic hospitality setting, with full training provided. You’ll be a key part of creating memorable experiences for families visiting our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise children in the play centre, ensuring a safe and positive environment.
  • Interact positively with children and their families, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Monitor play equipment for safety and report any issues promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the play centre area, including regular sanitization.
  • Assist with basic first aid if required (training can be provided).
  • Support restaurant team members as needed during quieter periods.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to child safety and hygiene.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a childcare or customer service role.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
