Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Play Centre Attendants to join our vibrant team for casual weekend day shifts. As a Play Centre Attendant, you will be crucial in ensuring a fun, safe, and engaging environment for all children and their families. This role involves direct interaction with children, supervising play areas, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise children in various play areas to ensure their safety and adherence to play rules.
  • Engage with children in a positive and supportive manner, facilitating fun activities.
  • Monitor play equipment for any hazards and report maintenance needs promptly.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures of the play centre, including light cleaning duties.
  • Handle minor first aid incidents and respond to emergencies according to established protocols.
  • Provide friendly and helpful customer service to parents and guardians.
  • Enforce centre policies and procedures to ensure a safe and respectful environment for everyone.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the play areas, restrooms, and common spaces throughout shifts.

  • Ability to supervise groups of children effectively and ensure their safety.

  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly throughout shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in childcare, recreational settings, or customer service.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
