Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Precision Ag Intern for a Farming Tech Placement at our Byron Bay facilities. This is an unparalleled opportunity for individuals eager to dive into the world of agricultural technology, gaining hands-on experience with innovative tools and methodologies. As an intern, you will work alongside our expert team, contributing to projects that bridge the gap between technology and sustainable farming. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for those with a keen interest but limited prior experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the deployment, calibration, and maintenance of precision agriculture hardware and software.
- Collect and analyze agricultural data using various sensors and platforms.
- Support the team in research and development of new farming technologies.
- Provide technical assistance and training to farmers on our platforms.
- Contribute to the documentation of projects, findings, and best practices.
- Participate in field operations, including drone piloting for mapping (training provided).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize system performance.
Required Skills
- Eagerness and strong desire to learn about precision agriculture and farming technology.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with standard office software.

Preferred Qualifications
