Job Description
Are you ready for an immediate start in a fast-paced and rewarding production environment? Tip Top Bakeries in Geelong is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Production Line Hands to join our dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for stable full-time work with the added benefit of penalty rates. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided to ensure your success. If you’re physically fit, have a strong work ethic, and are eager to learn, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment under supervision
- Assist with the loading and unloading of ingredients and finished products
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure adherence to company standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to strict hygiene and safety protocols
- Package finished goods accurately and efficiently for dispatch
- Communicate effectively with team leaders and other production staff
- Adhere to all food safety and occupational health and safety regulations
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for long periods
- Physical capability to lift and move up to 15kg regularly
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to understand instructions and record data
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (beneficial but not essential)
- Forklift license (highly regarded but not a requirement)
- Understanding of HACCP or food safety principles
