Job Description

We are seeking a highly reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Public Treasury Vault Assistant. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the secure handling, sorting, and counting of currency and other valuable assets within the treasury vault.
• Maintain meticulous records of all incoming and outgoing assets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external regulations.
• Operate and monitor security equipment and systems, reporting any discrepancies or concerns immediately.
• Adhere strictly to all security protocols, access procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.
• Prepare assets for transport and storage, including packaging and labeling.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and secure daily vault operations.
• Participate in regular inventory audits and reconciliation processes.
• Receive and verify deliveries, ensuring proper documentation and security.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments regarding asset movements and status.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or GED.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong sense of integrity and trustworthiness.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-security, controlled environment.
• Basic mathematical skills for counting and verification.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move moderate weight (up to 50 lbs) as required.
• Clear criminal background check and drug screening.
• Ability to follow precise instructions and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in cash handling or a security-conscious role is a plus, but not required.
• Familiarity with inventory management or record-keeping.
