Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Digital Asset Manager to join our dynamic team. This 100% remote position is crucial for maintaining the integrity, accessibility, and discoverability of our extensive library of digital media assets. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, ensuring all media files are properly tagged, categorized, and stored. This role requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for efficient information management, enabling our creative and marketing teams to quickly locate and utilize necessary assets from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of digital assets, from ingestion to archival, within the DAM system.
- Develop and enforce metadata standards, taxonomy, and file naming conventions.
- Ensure accurate tagging, categorization, and description of all media files including images, videos, audio, and documents.
- Train and support internal teams on DAM system usage and best practices.
- Monitor asset usage, permissions, and rights management.
- Perform regular audits of the DAM system to ensure data integrity and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with creative, marketing, legal, and IT teams to understand asset needs and improve workflows.
- Identify and implement opportunities for DAM system optimization and integration with other platforms.
- Generate reports on asset usage, system performance, and compliance.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in Digital Asset Management or a similar role.
- Proficiency with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Bynder, Widen, Canto).
- Strong understanding of metadata schemas, taxonomy, and content classification.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Information Science, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with media production workflows and content lifecycle.
- Familiarity with various digital file formats (e.g., JPG, PNG, MP4, MOV, AI, PSD).
- Basic understanding of intellectual property rights and content licensing.
