Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Remote Environmental Compliance Reviewer. This is a 100% remote, entry-level position that comes with comprehensive, full training. No prior experience in environmental compliance is required; we are looking for candidates eager to learn and grow within the field. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing a variety of environmental documents, permits, and reports to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local environmental regulations. You will contribute to our mission of ensuring compliance and promoting sustainable practices across all our projects and client initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review environmental permits, reports, and other project documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify compliance with applicable federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating compliance records and databases.
  • Identify potential non-compliance issues and escalate them to senior team members.
  • Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to gather necessary compliance information.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with evolving environmental regulations and best practices.
  • Prepare summaries of findings and assist in drafting compliance reports.
  • Support ad-hoc compliance-related tasks as needed.

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
  • A strong desire to learn and develop a career in environmental compliance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing) in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Public Health, or a related technical field.
  • Familiarity with environmental regulatory frameworks (e.g., EPA, state environmental agencies) is a plus, but not required.
  • Previous experience with data entry, document review, or administrative tasks.
