Job Description
Are you a visual storyteller with a keen eye for aesthetics? Do you love discovering new trends and organizing beautiful content? Shopify is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Remote Pinterest Board Curator to join our dynamic marketing team. In this 100% remote, part-time role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and maintaining engaging Pinterest boards that align with our brand identity and marketing goals. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about visual communication to contribute to a global brand, earn while being creative, and work entirely from the comfort of their home in Rouyn-Noranda or anywhere else in Canada. We encourage individuals with a strong understanding of Pinterest and a flair for visual curation to apply, even if you have no prior formal experience in a similar role. Full training on our brand guidelines and strategies will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, curate, and maintain a series of visually appealing and on-brand Pinterest boards.
- Research trending topics, aesthetics, and keywords relevant to Shopify's target audience and product offerings.
- Source high-quality imagery and video content for pinning, ensuring proper licensing and attribution.
- Write compelling and SEO-optimized pin descriptions to maximize discoverability and engagement.
- Monitor Pinterest trends, competitor activities, and platform updates to inform content strategy.
- Collaborate with internal marketing and content teams to ensure consistency across all visual platforms.
- Analyze Pinterest analytics to understand board performance and recommend adjustments to strategy.
Required Skills
- Exceptional visual aesthetic and a strong understanding of design principles.
- Proven proficiency and active engagement with the Pinterest platform.
- Ability to identify and interpret visual trends and translate them into engaging content.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
