Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and organized individuals to join our team as a Retail Stockist for casual work in our Jersey City store. As a Retail Stockist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our sales floor is consistently stocked, organized, and visually appealing for our guests. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently receive, unload, and process incoming merchandise shipments.
- Organize and maintain the stockroom, ensuring products are stored safely and logically.
- Replenish sales floor inventory, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and merchandise is presented according to visual merchandising standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained in the stockroom and on the sales floor.
- Support the sales floor team with product placement and general store operations as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Reliability and punctuality for assigned shifts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail, warehouse, or stockroom environment is a plus, but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
