Job Description
Are you an early riser looking for a dynamic role in a fast-paced retail environment? Coles Supermarkets at Wetherill Park is seeking a dedicated and reliable Retail Stockist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our shelves are well-stocked and presented, ready for our customers each morning. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a keen eye for detail, and is ready to contribute to a positive shopping experience. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload deliveries efficiently and safely.
- Organize and replenish stock on shelves, ensuring correct placement and rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized back-of-house and store floor.
- Check for damaged or expired products and remove them appropriately.
- Assist with stock takes and inventory management.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and store presentation.
Required Skills
- Ability to work early morning shifts consistently.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Good physical stamina, capable of lifting and moving stock.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of product placement and merchandising (training provided).
- Excellent time management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment (advantageous but not essential).
- Forklift license (if applicable to store operations, not mandatory).
