Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our Southampton store team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about retail, possess strong leadership skills, and have a proven track record in driving sales, managing operations, and developing a high-performing team. This role requires an individual who can inspire staff, engage customers, and maintain the high standards synonymous with the Marks & Spencer brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily store operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of retail associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Drive sales performance and achieve store targets through effective merchandising, customer service, and promotional activities.
- Manage inventory, stock control, and visual merchandising standards to optimize product presentation.
- Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered consistently by all team members.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Recruit, train, and conduct performance reviews for store staff.
- Manage store budget, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security procedures.
