Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable School Cleaner to join our team in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. This is an entry-level position perfect for individuals looking to contribute to a positive learning environment. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school premises, ensuring a safe and pleasant space for students, staff, and visitors. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate, making this an excellent opportunity for those new to the cleaning industry or seeking to re-enter the workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, and dusting surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring adequate supplies are maintained.
- Empty waste bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Clean windows, doors, and other glass surfaces.
- Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels.
- Follow health and safety guidelines and COSHH regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is stored safely and correctly after use.
