Job Description
Are you looking to start a rewarding career in security but don’t have experience? Allied Universal in Nashua, NH, is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as a Security Guard! We believe in investing in our talent, which is why we will pay for your Security Guard license and provide comprehensive training. This is an incredible opportunity for motivated candidates who are eager to learn and grow within the security industry. No prior experience is required – just a commitment to safety, excellent observation skills, and a desire to serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Observe and report activities and incidents at client sites, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter illegal and inappropriate actions.
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or in vehicle, checking for unauthorized persons or suspicious activities.
- Respond to emergency situations and alarms according to established protocols.
- Write accurate, detailed incident reports.
- Monitor premises via CCTV or other surveillance systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors, offering assistance and directions as needed.
- Enforce client policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Ability to obtain a Security Guard license (company paid training and fees provided).
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Reliable transportation to the work site.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- First Aid/CPR certification (will train if needed).
