Job Description
We are seeking a highly talented and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic marketing team in Peterborough. This pivotal role involves leading the design and visual execution of our brand strategy across various channels. You will be instrumental in shaping our visual identity, creating compelling marketing collateral, digital assets, and campaigns that resonate with our global audience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio demonstrating creative excellence, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of design principles and brand consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptualization and execution of creative design projects from brief to final delivery, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
- Design and produce a wide range of marketing materials including digital advertisements, website graphics, social media content, email templates, print collateral, presentations, and event branding.
- Collaborate closely with marketing managers, content creators, product teams, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into impactful visual solutions.
- Mentor junior designers, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to a collaborative and innovative design environment.
- Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints and ensure high-quality design standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends, design tools, and best practices to continually enhance our visual communication.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within an in-house marketing team or agency setting.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat).
- Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional design skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to develop creative concepts and execute them across various media.
- Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with motion graphics (After Effects) or video editing.
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles and web design best practices.
- Experience working with a global brand and understanding of international market nuances.
- Knowledge of digital asset management systems.
