Job Description
Embark on a rewarding career as a Sewer & Drain Maintenance Trainee with Thames Water in Guildford. Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all training programs, both on-the-job and classroom-based, to develop expertise in sewer and drain maintenance.
- Assist experienced technicians and engineers with the inspection, cleaning, and repair of sewer systems and drainage networks.
- Learn to operate and maintain specialized equipment, including high-pressure jetting units, CCTV survey equipment, and safety gear.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Carry out basic administrative tasks, including documentation of work performed and reporting of findings.
- Respond to and assist with emergency call-outs, contributing to the efficient resolution of issues.
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in a clean, safe, and operational condition.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate professionally with the public when required.
Required Skills

- Good verbal communication skills.
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks in varying weather conditions and confined spaces (after appropriate training).
