Job Description
Are you energetic, organized, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? Foot Locker in Bellevue is seeking a dedicated Shoe Store Stock Runner to join our vibrant team. This crucial behind-the-scenes role ensures our sales floor is always stocked with the latest athletic footwear and apparel, directly supporting our sales associates and enhancing the customer experience. You’ll be responsible for the efficient movement and organization of inventory, playing a vital part in the smooth operation of our store. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who loves to be active and contributes to a team effort without direct customer sales interaction. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently receive, unpack, and process new merchandise shipments.
- Accurately transfer stock from the backroom to the sales floor as requested by sales associates, ensuring correct sizing and placement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment, adhering to company standards.
- Assist with periodic inventory counts and stock audits to maintain accurate records.
- Handle merchandise with care to prevent damage and maintain product integrity.
- Communicate effectively and promptly with sales associates regarding stock availability and requests.
- Contribute to overall store cleanliness, operational efficiency, and a positive team atmosphere.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move merchandise boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain productivity in a fast-paced, sometimes physically demanding environment.
- Excellent teamwork and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of inventory procedures or a strong willingness to learn quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a retail stockroom, warehouse, or similar inventory handling role.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or handheld scanning devices.
