Job Description
Are you passionate about e-commerce and eager to kickstart your career in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? The Hut Group (THG) is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Shopify Intern to join our E-commerce Growth team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an entry-level individual with no prior experience to learn the intricacies of online retail, content management, and digital strategy using the Shopify platform. You will receive comprehensive training and mentorship, playing a key role in supporting the growth of our various e-commerce brands. We’re seeking someone with a strong desire to learn, an eye for detail, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily management and optimization of Shopify stores, including product listings, inventory, and content updates.
- Support the E-commerce team in implementing new features, apps, and integrations within the Shopify ecosystem.
- Contribute to content creation and merchandising efforts, ensuring product pages are engaging and accurate.
- Help monitor website performance, identify areas for improvement, and assist in A/B testing initiatives.
- Participate in market research and competitor analysis to identify new growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and development teams to execute e-commerce strategies.
- Assist with data entry and reporting related to sales, traffic, and conversion rates.
- Learn and apply best practices for SEO, UX, and CRO within the Shopify platform.
Required Skills
- Strong interest in e-commerce, digital marketing, and retail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive attitude and a strong willingness to learn new technologies and concepts.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of website functionality or content management systems.
