Job Description
Are you looking to start a career in security with a global leader? G4S is seeking dedicated and vigilant individuals to join our team as Site Security Marshalls in Liverpool. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity, perfect for those with no prior security experience. We provide full training and support to help you achieve your SIA licence and develop essential security skills. Night shifts are available and integral to this role, ensuring continuous protection for our clients’ assets and premises. You will be a crucial part of maintaining a safe and secure environment, acting as a visible deterrent and responding to incidents as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises and perimeters.
- Monitor CCTV systems and alarm panels, reporting any suspicious activities.
- Control access points, verifying credentials for entry and exit.
- Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.
- Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
- Implement and enforce site security policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and assistance to site visitors and staff.
- Collaborate with emergency services when required.
- Ensure the safety and security of staff, visitors, and property.
- Undertake mandatory training and professional development as provided by G4S.
Required Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Basic computer literacy for report writing and system monitoring.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be over 18 years of age and eligible to work in the UK.
- Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check and screening process.
- Availability to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid full UK driving licence.
- Previous experience in a customer service role.
- Basic First Aid certification (training can be provided).
