Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and vigilant individual to join our team as an Entry Level Site Security Marshall in Albury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in security, with no prior experience required. Full comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are confident and capable in your role. This position primarily involves night work, making it ideal for those who prefer evening and overnight shifts. As a Site Security Marshall, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises and property, both on foot and via vehicle.
• Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV, and promptly respond to any alarms or irregularities.
• Control access points, verify credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs.
• Report any suspicious activities, safety hazards, or incidents to supervisors.
• Respond to emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, and security breaches, following established protocols.
• Document daily activities, observations, and incident reports accurately.
• Enforce site rules and regulations to ensure compliance and order.
• Provide excellent customer service and assistance to site personnel and visitors when required.
• Operate security equipment and systems as trained.

Required Skills

• No prior security experience required; full training provided.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness to perform duties including walking, standing, and potentially responding to incidents.
• Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident with full working rights.
• Hold or be eligible to obtain a current Security Licence (Class 1A) in NSW (training support can be provided for eligible candidates).

Preferred Qualifications

• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Valid Australian Driver's License and reliable transport.
• Basic computer literacy for report writing and system monitoring.
