Job Description

Are you passionate about the creative arts and looking to gain real-world experience in a bustling studio environment? Outback Canvas Creative is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Studio Assistant Intern to join our team in Mount Isa. This is a unique opportunity for individuals with little to no prior experience to immerse themselves in the day-to-day operations of a professional creative agency. You will work closely with our designers and project managers, learning the intricacies of project workflow, client communication, and studio management. Full training will be provided, ensuring you develop a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to thrive in the creative industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist creative teams with project preparation and material organization.
  • Support graphic designers with basic tasks such as file management and asset compilation.
  • Help maintain a tidy and organized studio workspace.
  • Conduct research for ongoing projects and client presentations.
  • Assist with administrative duties including scheduling and communication.
  • Learn to operate various studio equipment under supervision.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas.
  • Shadow senior staff to understand project lifecycle from concept to completion.
