Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Subway / Tube Platform Sweeper to join our operations team for night work. This is a secure and essential role focused on maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our Metro station platforms and associated public areas. If you are detail-oriented, comfortable with night shifts, and committed to contributing to a positive public transport experience, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough sweeping and cleaning of Metro station platforms, stairs, and public waiting areas.
- Empty waste bins and replace liners regularly.
- Remove litter, debris, and any spills in accordance with health and safety protocols.
- Operate basic cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards observed on platforms.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, particularly during night shifts.
- Ensure cleaning supplies are replenished and stored correctly.
- Work independently and as part of a small team during overnight hours.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including sweeping, lifting (within health and safety guidelines), and standing for extended periods.
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability for night shift work.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Good communication skills for reporting and team coordination.

- Legal right to work in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications
